As a Graphic Designer, I had the privilege of partnering with Jaguar for the launch of their revolutionary i-Pace model. My role in this project involved creating a groundbreaking advertisement for a magazine, one that seamlessly integrated augmented reality (AR) interactivity. Furthermore, I was entrusted with developing the accompanying mobile application that brought this innovative experience to life. This pioneering endeavor marked a remarkable milestone in automotive advertising.
The journey began with a deep exploration of Jaguar’s vision for the i-Pace, a groundbreaking electric vehicle. Understanding the essence of this cutting-edge automobile was essential in crafting an advertisement that would resonate with readers.
My role as a Graphic Designer extended beyond traditional boundaries. I conceptualized and designed an interactive magazine ad that came alive when scanned using the Jaguar i-Pace mobile application. This creative fusion of print and digital allowed readers to experience the car in a whole new way.
What truly set this project apart was the integration of augmented reality. I harnessed AR technology to create an interactive 3D model of the i-Pace, which could be superimposed on the printed ad. Readers could explore the car’s features, change its color, and even access a Call to Action to schedule a test drive, all through the mobile app.
In addition to the advertisement, I took on the responsibility of designing and developing the mobile application that seamlessly integrated with the magazine ad. This involved creating an intuitive user interface, robust 3D modeling, and AR functionality.
Our collaborative effort aimed to elevate Jaguar’s presence in the automotive industry. By marrying cutting-edge design with innovative technology, we positioned Jaguar as a leader in embracing the digital frontier to engage and captivate their audience.
I am immensely proud of the work we accomplished in bringing the Jaguar i-Pace to life in a truly immersive and interactive way.
