I am excited to share my recent endeavor in creating a captivating 3D Christmas animation for a 4D billboard at Barra Shopping in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this project, I undertook the entire process from conceptualization to projection, bringing the festive spirit to life using the powerful tools of Blender and DaVinci Resolve.

The project’s inception involved ideation and meticulous planning to craft an immersive Christmas-themed animation tailored specifically for the external 4D billboard at Barra Shopping. Leveraging the versatile features of Blender, I meticulously modeled and textured every element, ensuring a seamless blend of creativity and technology.

Blender’s capabilities were instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into three-dimensional masterpieces. Each element, from festive characters to scenic backgrounds, was carefully modeled and textured to evoke the holiday spirit. The challenge lay in seamlessly integrating these elements into a cohesive and visually stunning narrative that would resonate with the audience.

The projection process involved using Blender to create a dynamic and visually appealing sequence that would unfold across the 4D billboard. This required a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of animation principles to ensure that the Christmas story came to life in a vibrant and engaging manner.

To add the finishing touches and refine the visual aesthetics, I employed DaVinci Resolve. The post-production phase included color grading, visual effects, and overall enhancement to achieve a polished and professional look for the 3D Christmas animation.

The result is an immersive and enchanting experience for Barra Shopping visitors, bringing the joy of the holiday season to the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. This project showcases my proficiency in 3D animation, from ideation and modeling to seamless integration and projection, all achieved with the collaborative power of Blender and DaVinci Resolve.
